SnapBead ("we", "our", or "the App") is designed from the ground up to respect and protect your privacy. We do not require account registration, and all photo-to-template conversion happens strictly on your device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
SnapBead does not collect, upload, store, or share any personal data, photos, facial data, location data, or device identifiers on external servers. You can use all features of the App without creating an account or providing your name, email address, or phone number.
2. Camera and Photo Library Permissions
To provide our core Photo-to-Bead Template Maker and Artwork Export features, SnapBead may request the following standard iOS permissions:
- Photo Library Access: Used solely when you choose an existing picture from your library to convert into a pixel bead template, or when you tap "Save to Photos" to export your finished bead artwork.
- Camera Access: Used solely when you choose to take a new photo directly inside the App to generate a bead template.
All image processing, contour detection, and color palette clustering are executed 100% locally on your iPhone or iPad. Your photos never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share them using the iOS system share sheet.
3. Local Data Storage
Your custom bead templates, coloring progress, and optional profile nickname/avatar are stored locally on your device using Apple's native SwiftData and UserDefaults frameworks. You can delete any template at any time inside the App, or remove all local data by uninstalling the App.
4. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising
SnapBead contains no third-party advertising SDKs, no cross-app tracking, and does not sell or rent any user data to third parties.
5. Children's Privacy
Because SnapBead does not collect any personal information from users of any age, it is safe for general audiences and complies with applicable children's privacy regulations (including COPPA and GDPR-K).
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new app features or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date.
