Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I get clearer outlines when converting a photo into a bead template?

On the Pixelate Settings screen, select the Crisp Contour mode for portraits and pets, or increase the Grid Density to 32 × 32, 48 × 48, or 64 × 64. You can also tap the Original / Bead View button on the preview card to compare details live before creating your template.

2. Can I rename my template when generating it from a photo?

Yes! In the Pixelate Settings screen (Step 2 of 3), tap the Template Name field right below the live bead preview to enter any custom title before tapping "Create Coloring Task".

3. How do I pan, zoom, and brush-fill on the coloring canvas?

Use two fingers to pinch-to-zoom (up to 7×) and pan anywhere on the pegboard. In Brush mode, dragging your finger starting on an unfilled cell of the active color number will smoothly paint across matching cells; starting on an already-filled or non-matching cell automatically pans the canvas. You can also switch to Move mode anytime for dedicated one-finger panning.

4. Why can't I save my finished artwork to the Photo Library?

Please make sure SnapBead has permission to add photos. Open your iPhone or iPad Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → SnapBead, and select Add Photos Only or Full Access.

5. Are my photos uploaded to any server?

Never. All photo pixelation, contour detection, and template generation run 100% offline on your device. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
